What a Week, But We’re Still Here

This week has been a lot.

There’s no other way to say it. The news. The weather. The weight of holding so much while trying to stay present. It’s the kind of week that makes you want to crawl under the covers and not come out until the world settles down.

But here we are. Still standing. Still navigating. Still figuring it out one decision at a time.
Because that’s what we do.

As we shift into this next phase of what I call the Soft Life, one conversation keeps coming up in every space I’m in. It’s not just about ease. It’s not just about rest. It’s about something more immediate. More real. More necessary.

Show me the money.

We’re in a moment where many of us are rethinking everything. Careers are changing. Businesses are being born out of necessity and vision. People are walking away from what no longer fits and trying to figure out what they actually want. And through it all, clarity is the thread that keeps it all together.

That’s why I continue to share tools and reflections with you. Because before strategy, before visibility, before income, comes clarity.

Let me say it again for the woman in the back.
You are not starting over.
You are not behind.
You are not too late.

You don’t need to blow it all up to begin again. You don’t need to jump on the latest trend or chase someone else’s blueprint. You just need to get honest. You need to give yourself room to hear your own voice again.

That’s where the real shift begins.

And to do that, you’re going to have to release some things.
You’re going to have to forgive some things.
You’re going to have to get honest about what’s still sitting in your spirit that no longer needs to be carried.

I remember when I was a bag lady. Not the kind with luggage and lip gloss. The kind Erykah Badu sang about. The kind that carries emotional weight from one room to the next without even realizing it.

I brought my fears, my disappointments, my exhaustion, and my overthinking into every relationship, every opportunity, every new beginning. I was always tired but couldn’t rest. Always planning but never present. Always doing, never receiving.

Even when God placed blessings in front of me, I couldn’t enjoy them. I was too busy worrying about things that didn’t matter. I missed miracles because I was caught up in my own noise.

The truth is, I wasn’t clear. I didn’t fully understand who I was or what I brought to the table. I thought I had to be something more when what I needed was to be still and remember who I already was.

Getting to the other side of that wasn’t quick or easy. It took time. It took space. It took telling the truth to myself over and over again. It took letting go of people, beliefs, and ways of being that no longer served the woman I was becoming.

That process changed everything. And every lesson from that journey lives in what I create. Nothing I share is theory. It’s all lived. Every product, every program, every word is built from experience.

I turned my pain into power.
That’s what birthed Black Women Amplified.

This is not about performance. This is about remembering who you are and creating from that place.

We’re not here to build lives that look good but feel hollow. We’re not here to prove. We’re here to be. Fully, boldly, and without apology.

Next week, I’ll be sharing a new offer called Envision. It’s a digital reset rooted in clarity, designed for women who are ready to move forward without the weight. But for now, I want you to rest. I want you to take a breath and give yourself some space.

If you’ve been impacted by the recent tornadoes, my heart is with you. If you’re in a position to support someone who has, I encourage you to do so. This is a time for care. Real care. Collective care. The kind that changes things.

This is a new era. And the power is with the people.
Take care of yourself. Love on your people. And remember, clarity is not a luxury. It is the foundation.

Have a soft, grounded Memorial Day weekend.
Can you believe summer is almost here?

With love and gratitude,
Monica Wisdom
