Miracles in the Chaos

Breathe, Reflect, and Move…

Hey Gorgeous,

I hope you’re doing well. Please hit reply and let me know how you’re feeling. I know this new era is challenging, and it’s tough to catch our breath. But, as I often remind myself: take a moment to breathe, pray, and reflect on the goodness in your life.

One of the amazing things that has happened recently is Hillmantok University. God is truly working. Amid the chaos in the real world, Black folks have come together on TikTok to create an entire virtual university in just three days. Professors, coaches, and innovators are teaching full semesters online. From African American Studies to Baking 101. It’s magical! With over 400 courses already scheduled and plans for summer programs, it’s an experience you don’t want to miss. The mascot? The Black Panther. If you’ve ever wanted an HBCU-like experience, now is your time. You can do it for fun or to advance your education. Here’s the lesson I want to share: When the spirit inspires you to move, don’t hesitate. It means the path is ready for you to say yes. In times like these, more than ever, we must trust our intuition, families, faith, and our community circles. Stay informed, but always protect your peace.

On Thursday, I’m going live on Instagram with Lisane Basquiat hopefully you caught our podcast interview! We’ll be chatting about finding your focus, and I’d love for you to join us. You can tune in via my IG: @MonicaWisdom. It’s going to be a dose of positivity!

Lastly, this week, I re-released my interview with Jazmine Irving and Ivy Wilbern—two besties and HBCU alums who took a life-changing trip in nature during the pandemic. This trip led them to become the first Black Women to own a crystal mine. It’s a powerful story that proves that even in the midst of chaos, miracles happen. Their journey is a beautiful testament to resilience and the power of saying yes. I can’t think of a better story to share during Black History Month. (almost)

Have an amazing day and know that I’m thinking of you.

Many Blessings,
Monica Wisdom

PS: I updated my journal and can’t wait to share all the details with you tomorrow!
