Yes, this is a long email, but I have something to share with you that I am excited about.
If you are here, chances are you landed in this community from one of many different places. Maybe through Black Women Amplified, one of my classes, a conversation, an event, a podcast episode, or simply because something I shared connected with where you were in your own life.
For years, a large part of my work has happened behind the scenes. I have mentored aspiring artists, emerging entrepreneurs, creators, and ambitious women through programs and organizations including Nasdaq’s Mentor Makers, The Podcast Academy, Spark through the Parkway School District, the University of Maryland, and through my work with private clients. The titles and circumstances were different, but so many of the conversations came back to the same thing: helping someone move through a chapter of their life with more clarity, confidence, and a stronger sense of what was possible for them.
That work has always been deeply personal to me because my own self-discovery journey changed the way I see my life. I learned how much power there is in knowing yourself, trusting your own voice, and being willing to question the stories and expectations that have shaped your decisions. I became much more fearless about choosing what was right for me, even when it looked different from what I thought my life was supposed to be.
As women, and especially as Black women and women of color, there are so many narratives we have had to push past while building our lives. We have learned how to adapt, achieve, care for others, keep going, and find our way through circumstances we were never fully prepared for. Now many of us are entering another kind of transition, one that is asking us to think differently about work, identity, purpose, money, relationships, technology, and what we actually want from the years ahead.
We are also living through a time when everything seems to be changing at once. Jobs are shifting, industries are being disrupted, AI is moving into nearly every part of our lives, and sometimes it feels like we are being rushed into a Jetsons future before we have even had time to process the world we are leaving behind. In the middle of all of that change, I want my work to remain deeply human and focused on helping women stay connected to themselves, their wisdom, their ideas, and the possibilities still available to them.
That is why I am bringing this work into the public domain through Monica Wisdom Coaching.
I want to work with women who can feel that another chapter is approaching, as well as women who are already in the middle of one and need greater clarity about where they are and what they want next. Sometimes the shift is about career or business. Sometimes it is about identity, confidence, purpose, or simply realizing that the life you built in one season may not be the life you want to carry into the next.
Monica Wisdom Coaching is where I will be sharing more of this work, along with ways we can work together more deeply. Since you are already part of my Inner Circle, you will continue to hear from me here, but I wanted you to be among the first to know where this next part of my work is going.
I invite you to visit the new Monica Wisdom Coaching website, take a look around, and see what speaks to you. There is more coming, but this is the beginning of bringing work I have done quietly for years into a much bigger conversation.
