The Magic of You:
Choosing to Be Seen

Hello Reader,

I hope you have had a great week and stayed hydrated.

Monday was my birthday, and it was soft and lovely.

For the past three years, I have been building a new life. And at this stage, I can feel my truest self emerging. Maybe it is age. Maybe it is the moment where you stop carrying what was never yours to hold. Whatever it is, I like who I am becoming.

Life is not exactly where I want it to be yet. But I am loved. I feel seen. I feel heard. And that matters.

That has not always been my experience.

There was a time when I did not feel seen or valued. I was more comfortable in the background, supporting the dreams of others and celebrating their success. And while there is beauty in that, it was not always returned in the ways I needed. Over time, it left me overwhelmed and underappreciated.

I realized I needed to make a different choice. I had to bet on myself.

That meant asking for support. Not just from family and friends, but from people who understood where I was going and what I was building. At first, it felt uncomfortable like learning a new language. But I came to understand something clearly.

Hiding does not build anything.

It does not build income. It does not build authority. And it does not build the life you know you are meant to live.

I had to find a way to show up. To communicate who I am, what I value, and what I bring to the world. For me, that looked like podcasting. For someone else, it might be art, writing, or philanthropy. We all have our own path to visibility.

And in a time when it can feel easier to shrink or stay quiet, choosing to be seen can feel uncomfortable.

But it is also necessary.

Not for performance. Not for approval. But to stand fully in who you are and what you are here to do.

As I have been reflecting on my life, one thing has become clear.

I was always supported. I just could not see it through the lens of feeling unworthy. Through doubt. Through questioning my place.

That changes how you show up.

What I understand now is this. Being seen is not about ego. It is about responsibility. It is about using your voice, your gifts, and your presence to create impact.

And it starts with being willing to step forward.

If you are in a moment where you know you are meant to be seen, but you are not sure how to do it in a way that feels aligned, this is the work I do with women privately. We get clear on your voice, your direction, and how you show up in a way that supports the life you are building.

With care,
Monica
