Our Podcast Season 8 Opens Tonight in a Special Episode

Hello Reader,

Hello Family,

I have missed you. I hope you are doing well with all that is happening around us. Life can be consuming. Sometimes you have to step back, get quiet, and regroup. That is what I have been doing.

I have been focused on my private coaching and building new programs to help women pivot with clarity and confidence. Everything is shifting. No one asked us if we were ready. Yet here we are. And even with all that is happening, we still have access to our own power. That has not changed.

I have also been preparing for the next season of Black Women Amplified. I will be honest. I almost walked away. This podcast is a labor of love. It takes time, energy, and intention. I prayed about it and received clarity, so I am back.

Tonight, I am releasing a special episode because after everything we have witnessed this week, I felt we needed something grounding. A reset for the mind.

I invited my friend Lisane Basquiat into the conversation to talk about boundaries and balance. In our last episode, she shared her personal story. In this one, she shares her expertise. Lisane is a board-certified legacy healing strategist, a master practitioner and teacher of Neuro Linguistic Programming, a certified professional coach, and the CEO of Shaping Freedom. She is also an award-winning business leader and the administrator of her brother Jean Michel Basquiat’s estate. Beyond her credentials, she is someone I trust, respect, and continue to learn from.

This conversation is thoughtful and direct. We talk about inherited patterns, saying yes when we mean no, and how to move through this year with clarity instead of confusion. Michelle Obama says we must go high. I believe we must get radically clear about our power.

The episode is live tonight. Our regularly scheduled episode will drop tomorrow, but after the State of the Union, I felt we needed a palate cleanse.

Follow Black Women Amplified on your favorite podcast platform and share it with your tribe. I will be back tomorrow to introduce our next esteemed guest and her latest book.

Until then, enjoy this conversation with Lisane and me.

Sending love and gratitude,

Monica Wisdom

PS. If the link is not live, give it an hour or so. It takes time to get to the correct places. But I wanted to make sure the tribe had it first.
